According to the myth a combination of the intoxicating effects of his invention and the enmity of Hera sent Dyonisus mad for a while. To escape her curses, he spent years travelling far and wide, spreading viticulture and the technique of winemaking around the Mediterranean. This tour is offered as daytrip from any area, in Campania. We’ll first visit the archaeological area of Paestum, with its surprisingly intact Greek Temples and museum.
